Hands-on Training, “From Raw Data to Insights: Data Analysis in R Software”

A hands-on training, “From Raw Data to Insights: Data Analysis in R Software,” held at the Indian Institute of Public Health Shillong, was led by Drs. Ben Lambert and Sumali Bajaj from the University of Oxford. Using real-world data, participants were taught about Bayesian inference in R, how to visualize data effectively using ggplot2, the use of serocatalytic models in analyzing serosurvey data, and working with GitHub to facilitate data reproducibility and data sharing. Participants also explored techniques for visualizing and analyzing geospatial data in R.
The workshop brought together students, researchers, and public health professionals, offering them essential skills to enhance their data analysis skills in the field of public health.
